Welcome Aboard

Many Fishing Opportunities Available

Slow trolling
Live bait and other techniques are used in waters about twenty miles from Port, over reefs that can provide catches of King Mackerel, Cobia, Dolphin (Mahi Mahi), Barracuda and Sharks.

Blue-water trolling
The Gulf Stream’s warm current provides an opportunity for a chance at the one of the Atlantic Oceans legendary striking fish such as Wahoo, Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi), King Mackerel and the occasional Sailfish or Blue Marlin,

Bottom Fishing
Drop baits at depths from 80 to 250 feet and your day could be made by landing a tasty and hard pulling Grouper, Red Snapper, or Amberjack.

Sight fishing
When conditions are right, the migration routes of certain species—
Cobia, Tripletail, Tarpon and Shark—brings them to the surface in the waters adjacent to Port Canaveral.

Your offshore saltwater fishing charter starts at the docks of Cape Marina, where we will load your drinks, food and fishing party on to “Crusher”.  Upon boarding, you will meet the captain and crew and then go through a brief orientation of the vessel. The captain will describe the conditions we are likely to encounter, the vessel’s accommodations and some safety considerations. Then he will explain the types of fishing that have recently been the most productive and will help you determine what type of fishing will best fit your party’s desires.

Fishing Grounds

After the ride to the fishing grounds the captain will slow the boat and set the tackle. Now you’re fishing the deep. During the day offshore there will be plenty of chances to talk to your guide. He will point out interesting things that are very unusual to those who have not experienced this type of trip. From Sea Turtles to Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin, there is a lot of marine ecology to see.

The Catch

When fish strike and line is peeling out, our crew will assist in any way they can to help you successfully land what we hope will be the catch of a lifetime. We try very hard to make your day of fishing day a total success. Not only do we want you to catch loads of fish but we also want you to have loads of fun.

Once we are done fishing, the captain will return you to port where he will skillfully dock the boat and clean and bag your catch. The work will be done for you.

What You’ll See

As the boat leaves the slip, you will get an up close view of the cruise ships and terminals in Port Canaveral. As you pass the entrance of the Port, you may see a submarine in the Trident Basin. From the channel just outside the Port, the launch gantries at Canaveral Air force and the famous VAB at Kennedy Space Center are plainly visible.
